Korotchenko: The West will blackmail Baku and Ankara

What does the collapse of Garibashvili's government in Georgia and the coming to power of clearly pro-Western/pro-American forces mean?

Axar.az reports that Russian military expert and editor-in-chief of "National Defense" magazine Igor Korotchenko said about this.

"1. There is a possibility of blackmailing Azerbaijan and Turkiye because the most important pipeline - South Caucasus Pipeline, oil pipeline (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway passes through the territory of Georgia.

2. Formation of the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Brussels-Paris military-political axis as a means of strong influence and destabilization on Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Russia.

3. Increasing the strategic importance of the Armenia-Georgia relationship as a factor in the new application of the forces of the global Armenian diaspora for destructive actions against Azerbaijan," he said.

It should be noted that earlier Korotchenko warned about the response prepared in the West (USA-France-EU) after Azerbaijan regained control over Karabakh. He said that the West has destabilized Georgia and by organizing a "colour revolution" there, the government of Irakli Garibashvili will be removed by force and stressed that Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Russia will suffer from this.
