Did Baku give Galstyan a position?

The information spread yesterday about the appointment of Sarkis Galstyan as a patrol officer in Khankendi by Azerbaijan is not true.

Axar.az reports that "Hraparak" published information about this.

The publication said that Galstyan is the uncle of the deputy of the so-called "parliament" David Galstyan and worked in the "Ministry of Education" of the separatists. During the "pre-election campaign" of Araik Arutyunyan, he was the "responsible" person at the "headquarters" in Shusha and Karkijahan.

Bako Saakyan, the former "president" of the separatists, is said to be his "godfather".

The site's sources said that Galstyan was appointed deputy head of the "presidential administration" on September 28 by the "order" of Samvel Shahramyan. After the release of the so-called "Artsakh", Galstyan became the highest-ranking "official" there. He told his relatives that the government of Azerbaijan did not entrust him with anything, he was just performing the duties of "deputy chief of staff" until the so-called institution released itself.
