The details of the 5-hour closed meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with community leaders in Tavush region have been released.
Axar.az reports that "Hraparak" publication wrote that new territories can be handed over to Azerbaijan with reference to those who participated in the meeting.
"Pashinyan said that if they do not return the villages, there will be a war. During the meeting, the village leaders asked Pashinyan whether the threat of war will disappear after the transfer of 4 villages. The Prime Minister said that there is no such guarantee. He noted that events can develop in all scenarios, Armenia should avoid war as much as possible. The leaders of the community suggested that the delimitation should be carried out proportionally, and Azerbaijan should return the territories of Armenia (?). Pashinyan replied that this is not an acceptable option at the moment, Azerbaijan will not accept it," the publication writes.
The deputy mayor of Incesu (Noyemberyan) told the publication that after the meeting, we realized that there is a danger for us, we consider it a unilateral concession, so we will not participate in the process.
The publication notes that the community leaders who participated in the meeting think that new territories will be handed over to Azerbaijan.
