Axar.az reports that the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, said this at a joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

"Germany is ready to support both countries for necessary compromises. We are pleased with the preliminary agreement on demarcation. I encourage a bold step in this direction," he said.

The chancellor stated that Germany is ready to support Azerbaijan and Armenia in the way of peace.
