A comprehensive meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ahmad Moallim Figi.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan released information about this. It was reported that prospects for strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

"The parties also exchanged views on the mechanisms of using the potential of various areas for cooperation, including economy, trade, energy security, and they also noted Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the UN, Non-Aligned Movement, OIC and COP29 as one of the important cooperation platforms. During the meeting Also, Azerbaijan's post-conflict regional reconstruction and peace efforts were discussed," the MFA said.
