"Our efforts to achieve a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip continue".

Axar.az reports that this was stated by William Burns, Director of the CIA, and Richard Moore, Director of MI6, in a joint press statement.

Burns and Moore revealed that intelligence channels are being used to make progress towards reducing tensions in Gaza.

'We are working tirelessly to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and prisoner exchange in the Gaza Strip. This agreement will end the suffering of the Palestinian civilian population. The agreement will also allow Israeli prisoners held in Gaza to return home starting from October 7,' both intelligence officials said."
