Iran opposes third-country control in Zangezur -

Tehran is dissatisfied with Russia’s stance on the Zangezur Corridor but will not let this affect cooperation with the Kremlin.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by political scientist Elxan Shahinoglu.

"Iran is preparing to provide ballistic missiles to its neighbor in addition to selling unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia. Iran will also not refuse joint military exercises with Russia," he said.

It should be noted that Iran’s ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Subhani, had stated that they oppose third-country representatives controlling communications in Zangezur.
