Russia has the ability to shoot down these planes. But Ukraine has done the necessary work to ensure their safety. The loss of even one of the F-16s in the first battles can already create certain problems. Therefore, the safety issues have been resolved and the pilots have been given the necessary instructions.

Axar.az reports that military expert Uzeyir Jafarov said these words while talking about Ukraine's delivery of the first batch of F-16s.

According to him, the F-16s will initially be used not on the battlefield, but as MAD systems:

"I had personal talks with some officials of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. They said that the security of these fighters is important. Today, F-16s will be used more as an air defense system than an aircraft. It will be used in work related to the transfer of information to the relevant command for identification and neutralization of targets at a distance of 300 km. They don't use them in active battles yet."

According to a military expert, the plans for the F-16s are big, and the result may be seen in the near future:

"So far, only 10 F-16s have arrived, and this will not make a big difference for Ukraine. But the Russians have already reduced the number of missile launches. Until now, they fired 50,000 shells per day, but now the number of shots has dropped to 43,000. The Russians feel they need to protect the missiles. In July, the issue of the Crimean bridge should have been resolved. But Kirill Budanov, head of the General Intelligence Service of Ukraine, said that this will be resolved in the coming months. It is being worked on. Most likely, F-16s will be used to disable the S-500s deployed in Crimea and shoot down the Crimean bridge. It's just that the moment and opportunity to implement this plan is being investigated."
