Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan returns to the "bosom of Mother Russia" as a prodigal son.

Axar.az reports that the "Hraparak" newspaper wrote about it.

The newspaper said that Pashinyan's inclination towards Russia was felt:

"Pashinyan said that there may be surprises in the fall even in narrow circles. The first sign of bowing to Russia was felt at the press conference held on August 31. It became known yesterday that Armenia will unofficially participate in the BRICS and CIS summits. Some see the reason for Nikol Pashinyan's change of rhetoric in his last telephone conversation with Russian President Volodymyr Putin on August 23. 4 days after that, Putin also spoke with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and a day later, the Delimitation Regulation, which was extended for two months, was signed."

According to the publication, Pashinyan's change of position may also be related to Baku:

"According to some sources, Putin asked Aliyev to reduce the pressure on Armenia. Perhaps that is why Pashinyan, who boycotted Russia's CIS and CSTO platforms, decided to participate now. Yesterday, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, said that she expects the full participation of Yerevan in the activities of the CSTO.
