Ocampo meets Armenian leaders in Yerevan

The Armenian Catholicos II Karekin met with former International Criminal Court prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo and members of the "Center for Truth and Justice" organization, led by Bishop Hovakim Manukyan of the Armenian Apostolic Church's British-Irish Eparchy, during a visit to Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the Armenian church.

During the meeting, Ocampo allegedly stated that he had begun activities aimed at the liberation of Armenia's occupied territories by Azerbaijan, raising the issue of ethnic cleansing in "Artsakh," and the release of "Armenian prisoners" held in Azerbaijan.

Additionally, Ocampo emphasized the importance of global Armenian unity in implementing these principles.

It should be noted that Luis Moreno Ocampo, the former ICC prosecutor, is known for his hostile activities against Azerbaijan. Last month, Ocampo made another provocative statement against our country, calling on Armenians through various hashtags to use the upcoming COP29 international event in Baku to bring up the issue of "hostages."
