Moscow has never given up the role of "honest broker" in the negotiation process between Baku and Yerevan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.

According to him, the Russian leader's recent contacts with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan confirm Moscow's commitment to the peace process:

"The work of the tripartite working group headed by the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia should be resumed as soon as possible."

The ambassador said that Armenia's full participation in CSTO meets the interests of this country:

"In September 2022, many risks could have been reduced if Yerevan had agreed to implement several measures through CSTO to stabilize the situation on the border with Azerbaijan. The EU mission in Armenia located on the border does not protect the country, it collects intelligence information.
