Iranian TV host fired for anti-Azerbaijan remarks

Iranian state television's "Ufuq" channel host, Hussein Husseini, has been dismissed from his job.

Axar.az reports that this information was shared by the "Azad Iran" Telegram channel.

It was stated that during a program in which the pro-Armenian and strongly anti-Azerbaijani expert Ehsan Movahedian also participated, the Iranian host referred to the Azerbaijani state as "Northern Azerbaijan."

At the same time, he mentioned that Azerbaijan was a "former dear part" of Iran and expressed his hope that Azerbaijan would soon reunite with Iran.

It should be noted that the hypocritical Iranian host had previously criticized the words of an Azerbaijani television host on air, saying: "The Azerbaijani host should know that if the Iranian government wishes, we could soon broadcast Azerbaijan's weather forecast on state television!"
