Russia funds UN programs in Armenia

Russia is funding several programs of the UN in Armenia, with a total budget of approximately 40 million dollars.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by the press service of the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

It is noted that one of the many formats of cooperation between Russia and Armenia is joint work through the UN:

"In cooperation with the Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and based on Russia's financial assistance, UN programs are being implemented to support both individual social groups and various sectors of the republic's economy in Armenia. Through the UN Development Program, Russia is funding projects with a total value of 9.7 dollars."
