Ruben Vardanyan responds to Armenian PM's statement

Ruben Vardanyan, who is in detention in Baku, has responded to a statement made by Armenia's Prime Minister during his recent press conference.

Axar.az reports that Vardanyan's office released a statement regarding this.

The Armenian billionaire stated that he had told Pashinyan during their conversation that he would not interfere in Armenia's politics: "If the Prime Minister had any questions about me, he could have approached me in November 2022, when I was also serving as 'state minister' (Vardanyan held the position of 'state minister' in the fake structure of the Karabakh separatists for 108 days). In any case, I am still ready to answer any questions he may have."

He reminded the Prime Minister that during their first meeting in the spring of 2018, when the four of us gathered, he had told him that they engage in charity regardless of their relationship with the Armenian authorities, because they do it for the people.

"Now our people are going through one of the most difficult periods in their history, but I believe that despite the challenges and disagreements, we can overcome this stage and build peace and a bright future."
