A ceasefire in Lebanon is essential for global collective security.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by France's Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu. He noted that there is an unavoidable risk of civil war in Lebanon:

"Our current position is based on the fear of an inevitable civil war due to the large number of displaced persons and the escalating sectarian conflicts. Additionally, Hezbollah's weakening has a significant impact on the situation. While this is good news, Lebanon is currently in a highly unstable state and could completely collapse."
