South Korea has vowed to take action against military collaboration between Russia and North Korea, despite Pyongyang's denial of sending troops to aid Moscow in its war on Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that , citing Aljazeera, Seoul officials stated on Tuesday that the partnership between Russia and North Korea poses an international threat, and they committed to collaborating with their allies to implement countermeasures, which may involve supplying arms to Ukraine.

It should be noted that South Korea's intelligence agency reported last week that North Korea had sent 1,500 special forces troops to Russia's Far East for training and preparation at local military bases, likely in readiness for combat in the war in Ukraine.

Both Russia and North Korea have denied arms transfers but have pledged to boost military ties.
