Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed his "surprise" that Turkiye continues to supply Ukraine with weapons while also attempting to mediate the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Lavrov said this in an interview with the Hurriyet newspaper.

“Turkish weapons are being used by the Ukrainian armed forces to kill Russian military personnel and civilians,” Lavrov stated in the interview published on Friday.

He noted, “This situation is surprising, especially considering the Turkish government’s claims that it is willing to offer mediation services.”
