The crowd at Donald Trump's official watch party erupted with excitement after Fox News projected that Trump would win the U.S. presidency.
Axar.az reports that The Fox News Decision Desk has projected that former President Trump has defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in a stunning victory, securing a second term in the White House after a historic election cycle filled with unprecedented twists, turns, and two attempts on his life.
Trump will become the first president to serve two non-consecutive terms since Grover Cleveland in 1892 — and only the second president in history to achieve this.
Trump was first elected president in 2016, defeating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and pledging to "Make America Great Again." He lost his re-election bid to President Biden in 2020 during the global coronavirus pandemic but reclaimed the White House in 2024 after a nearly two-year campaign, promising to "Make America Great Once Again."
