The leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is preparing for the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Maryana Bezugla.

It should be noted that since the beginning of August this year, units of the Ukrainian army, which crossed the Russian-Ukrainian state border, occupied dozens of settlements in the Kursk region of Russia. Ukrainians also managed to capture the city of Suja. According to the information of the Ukrainian side, in mid-August they already controlled about 1000 square kilometers of territory.

At the end of October, Russia launched a counterattack and is trying to regain control over those areas.
