On November 11, the 3rd Committee of the UN General Assembly adopted a Russian resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism. Armenia’s support for the resolution has been met with mixed reactions.

Axar.az reports that the Armenian publication "Hraparak" drew attention to the propaganda campaign against Russia conducted by the Pashinyan government over the years.

“Having always voted against pro-Russian resolutions or remained neutral in various international bodies, Nikol Pashinyan not only voted in favor but is also a co-author of the document. Experts had predicted that after the change in the Biden administration and Russia's expanding influence in the region, Pashinyan would ‘return to Putin's embrace,’ facing even more absurd situations,” the publication noted.

The report mentions that the “co-authors” of the document are Armenia, Belarus, China, Mali, North Korea, and other countries. Against the resolution, 54 countries voted, including Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, Hungary, Japan, and others.

In total, the resolution was adopted with the votes of 116 countries (11 countries abstained).
