Azerbaijan will never allow anyone to use its territory to strike Iran, which is also the homeland of Azerbaijanis.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Member of Parliament Gudrat Hasanguliyev in response to Iran’s call for Azerbaijan to investigate claims that Israeli drones used Azerbaijani airspace to attack Iran.

“It would be better for Iran to stop declaring that it will destroy Israel, and instead make efforts to reconcile with Israel and the U.S., and urgently begin internal reforms. I have always said that Pezeshkian may be Iran’s last chance for peaceful development.

Iran itself should investigate why so many of its citizens have cooperated extensively with Israeli intelligence services. Most of the drones that struck Iranian military facilities were assembled and launched from within Iranian territory. Iran is an Islamic state, and according to our religion, protecting one’s homeland is a part of faith. The simple answer lies in the proverb: ‘A hungry man has no faith, a full man has no fear,’” the MP stated.
