Washington’s NATO allies purchased approximately $21 billion worth of various weapons from the United States in 2024.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, in a letter sent to the State Department.

“When Europe invests in its own defense, it also directly supports job creation in the United States, strengthens our manufacturing base, and reinforces NATO’s collective defense,” Whitaker noted.
