Turkiye appoints new Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Turkiye has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that Birol Akgun will be the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkiye to Azerbaijan.

Akgun is the head of Turkiye's Maarif Foundation.

It is expected that the ambassador will arrive in Azerbaijan soon and begin his duties.

It should be noted that the current Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan is Cahit Bagci.
