Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss strategic partnership

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgia's newly appointed Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili had a telephone conversation.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

J. Bayramov congratulated his colleague on the occasion of his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the newly established government of Georgia and wished him success in this honorable position.

The parties discussed the current state of friendly and strategic partnership relations between the two countries and current plans and prospects for further development of these relations in the future. It was emphasized that the existing political dialogue between the countries at the highest and highest level, the ongoing intensive visits, and the mechanism of political consultations contributed to the further strengthening of strategic partnership relations.

The ministers also exchanged views on regional issues and directions of cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
