In their meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Tokayev, the issue of shallowing of the Caspian Sea was discussed, as it worries everyone.

Axar.az reports with reference to RIA that the Russian leader Vladimir Putin said these words.

"In the meetings held in Azerbaijan, Ilham Heydarovich (Aliyev - ed.) talked about it, now in Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Kemelevich (Tokayev - ed.) is also raising the issue. The shallowing of the Caspian Sea worries everyone. And, of course, we need to pay attention to the animal species that clearly and visibly suffer from it. But in general, this is a big problem," Putin said.
