The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the State of Israel Ishaq Herzog on January 21 in Davos based on the request of the other party.

Axar.az reports that the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Israel was noted at the meeting.

Ishak Herzog recalled his official visit to our country with pleasure.

During the conversation, it was stated that cooperation in the economic and commercial sphere is at a good level, and the work of the intergovernmental joint commission was highly appreciated.

It was emphasized that there are traditional, historic friendly relations between Azerbaijanis and Jews, and it was noted with satisfaction that all-round conditions have been created for the representatives of the Jewish community to live in an environment of peace, tranquility, and mutual understanding, along with representatives of other communities in our country.
