On January 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Jacob Aarup-Andersen, CEO of "Carlsberg Group" based on the request of the other party in Davos.

Axar.az reports that Jacob Aarup-Andersen touched upon the successful activities of his company in Azerbaijan and expressed his satisfaction with the investment environment existing in our country, especially appreciating the framework provided by Azerbaijan to foreign investors for the protection of property rights, and thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the created conditions.

The head of state was informed about the intention of "Carlsberg Group" to increase the level of localization of the products produced in the country and to expand the company's activities in Azerbaijan.

Cooperation issues with the "Carlsberg Group" company were touched upon in the meeting.
