The Head of State mentioned that modern winter-ski centers have been created in Azerbaijan for hosting international winter sports competitions, emphasizing that organizing such events plays a significant role in promoting not only the country's winter tourism potential but also its overall tourism opportunities.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan has successfully hosted internationally significant sports events, highlighting the country's vast capabilities in terms of modern infrastructure and extensive experience in this field.

Johan Eliasch stressed that the Federation he leads is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. The guest spoke about the prospects of holding international skiing competitions in Azerbaijan.

The meeting included discussions on future cooperation, as well as the promotion of Azerbaijan's winter tourism opportunities and the further global recognition of the “Shahdag” Tourism Center within the framework of the partnership with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation.
