Aliyev: Mattarella’s visit proves strong ties with Italy

This is the second time that Italian President Mr. Mattarella has been in Azerbaijan. The first official visit took place 7 years ago.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said these words in a press statement with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

The head of state said:

“Today’s visit shows that Italian-Azerbaijani relations are developing very successfully and that we are true strategic partners.”
