Qarabag FK has parted ways with midfielder Marko Yankovic, who has joined Turkish club Corum.
Axar.az reports that the 30-year-old has signed a “2+1” year contract with the newly promoted Turkish Super Lig side.
Yankovic’s absence from the recent Qarabag–Zire friendly match (4:3) was linked to the transfer.
It should be noted that Corum paid a transfer fee to Qarabag, as the player still had a contract running until the summer of 2027.
The Turkish club already includes Qarabag’s former Bosnian goalkeeper Ibrahim Sehic in its squad.
Yankovic, a Montenegro international, made 44 appearances for Qarabag last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists.
