US President Donald Trump has renewed his criticism of Italy and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni over their stance on Iran.

Axar.az reports that Trump made the remarks in a post on Truth Social.

“After spending trillions of dollars on NATO, Italy and its Prime Minister wouldn’t even think of becoming involved with the Islamic Republic of Iran and its very serious nuclear threat. For decades, we defend them but, when tested, they are not there to defend us and the rest of the world. Not good!” he noted.

It should be noted that Meloni had previously responded sharply to criticism from the US president.
