The 17th Azerbaijan-Turkiye High-Level Military Dialogue Meeting began in Baku on December 17.
Axar.az reports that, according to the information provided by the Ministry of Defense, within the framework of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Director General Agil Gurbanov met with a delegation led by the 2nd Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Levent Ergun. He noted the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in all areas, including the military, and drew attention to the importance of further expanding this cooperation for both sides.
Stating that the meetings held and the joint activities carried out will continue to intensify, Army General L. Ergun noted that the mutual exchange of experience will be fruitful for both armies.
The meeting held extensive discussions on the current mechanisms of action in the field of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye.
At the next stage of the Military Dialogue Meeting, the Sub-Working Groups analyzed the current state of bilateral military relations and exchanged views on the main directions of action for the implementation of future tasks.
The Sub-Working Groups will meet at the Department of International Military Cooperation and the National Defense University within the framework of the 17th High-Level Military Dialogue Meeting, which will continue until December 19.
