First resettlement convoy arrives in Khankendi

On December 20, the first resettlement convoy was sent to the Kerkijahan settlement of Khankendi city.

Axar.az reports that the resettled people are families who had been temporarily living in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

It is noted that at this stage, 30 families (115 people) are being relocated to the Kerkijahan settlement.

Today, the resettlement convoy sent to their native land arrived in the Kerkijahan settlement of Khankendi city.

The families were presented with the keys to their apartments.

Representatives of the Special Representation of the President of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, as well as officials from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, attended the ceremony.
