Georgia to get a fee for Azerbaijani fuel transit

Georgia will receive payment for the second transit of Azerbaijani gasoline to Armenia.

Axar.az reports, citing APA, that information about this was published in the Armenian media.

It is reported that this was stated by the director of the Mega Trade company, Karen Ayriyan. According to her, in the second transit, “Premium” and “Regular” gasoline will be imported from Azerbaijan.

“The payment for transit will not have a serious impact on the price of gasoline; the main impact on the price is shown by currency fluctuations and world market prices,” she said.

For information, the main importers of Azerbaijani fuel to Armenia are the companies “Mega Trade” and “Shisha World”.

It should be noted that Georgia did not receive a transit fee for the first transit of Azerbaijani fuel to Armenia.
