A strict special quarantine regime will be applied in Goranboy and Goygol regions.

Axar.az informs that, in this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution "On tightening the special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad, Mingachevir, Goranboy, Goygol and Absheron, Barda, Samukh, Siyazan, Sheki, Khachmaz regions."

According to the current decision, Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad, Mingachevir, Goranboy to ensure the tightening of a special quarantine regime in order to reduce the rate of spread of new types of coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as to minimize its complications.

Restrictions were applied in the territory of Goygol cities and Absheron, Barda, Samukh, Siyazan, Sheki, Khachmaz regions from 00:00 on June 21, 2020 to 06:00 on July 20, 2020.

According to the amendment, the already tightened special quarantine regime will be applied not only in Goranboy and Goygol, but in these regions in general. Restrictions imposed due to the tightened special quarantine regime will also apply in Goranboy and Goygol regions.

It should be noted that the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers will come into force today.
