On August 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel appealed to all Israeli citizens living in the countries bordering Iran - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, and Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that the Israeli MFA advised its citizens in these 4 countries neighboring Iran to be alert and cautious:

"Regarding the attempts of Iran and its proxies to attack Israelis, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on citizens visiting the countries mentioned above to be extremely alert and cautious and to follow the instructions of the Counter-Terrorism Headquarters under the National Security Council of Israel," the appeal said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the appeal is related to threats from Iran and its proxies. The ministry also stressed that since the war began, Iran has intensified its attacks on Israeli targets around the world.
