The International Parliamentary Conference on the topic "Parliamentarism: Traditions and Perspectives" has begun its work in the Milli Majlis.

Axar.az reports that nearly 100 representatives from 13 countries' parliaments and international organizations are attending the event.

The conference will focus on the role of parliaments in global processes, the development of parliamentary traditions, the potential of parliamentary diplomacy, and the contributions parliamentary debates can make to contemporary global challenges.

Within the framework of the conference, a roundtable discussion will be held at ADA University on "Parliaments in Public Diplomacy: The Azerbaijan and Turkiye Model."

The participants will also visit Azerbaijan's recently liberated territories and familiarize themselves with ongoing construction and restoration work there.

The "Parliamentarism: Traditions and Perspectives" international conference will conclude on December 8.
