Azerbaijan-Iran economic talks conclude with key deals

The 16th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Economic Commission was concluded today in Tehran.

Axar.az reports that the "Tasnim" agency has published information about this.

The Protocol of the 16th session of the aforementioned commission was signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of the co-chairs of the Joint Economic Commission - Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Farzana Sadiq.

Several important agreements on cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, oil and gas, water, and agriculture have been reached between the two countries.

At the same time, the parties agreed to sign a preferential trade agreement as soon as possible to expand trade relations.
