The first convoy of settlers has been sent to the village of Hasanriz in the Aghdara district.
Axar.az reports that, in the first phase, 25 families, totaling 91 people, will be relocated to the village.
The first settlers to move to Hasanriz are families who had temporarily settled in various places across the country, mostly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
It should be noted that nearly 40,000 people currently live in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, including former internally displaced persons who have been resettled, as well as individuals working on development projects in the region, employees of local branches of various state institutions, and those working in newly reopened healthcare, education, culture, tourism, industry, and energy sectors.
