In Turkiye's İzmir province, forest fires have spread to residential areas due to strong winds in the region. A building has burned down, and numerous homes have been evacuated.
Axar.az reports that the fire, which started yesterday evening in the Karshiyaka district of the province, has spread widely. Five aircraft, 15 helicopters, and numerous vehicles have been deployed to the area.
Despite efforts to combat the fire from the ground, most of the flames have spread to workplaces. The population has been evacuated, and transportation on roads leading to the affected area has been halted.
