A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Sindirgi district of the Balıkesir province of Turkiye.

Axar.az informs that the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) reported this.

The epicenter of the earthquake, which was recorded at 12:35 local time (13:35 Baku time), is located at a depth of 7.72 kilometers.

No information was given about damage or casualties.

Another earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale occurred in the Sindirgi district.

The tremors occurred at a depth of 9.62 km. It was reported that no negative events were experienced due to the earthquake.
