Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that Syrian refugees are actively returning to their homeland.

Axar.az reports that according to the minister, after the change of power in Syria (since December 8, 2024), 474 thousand 18 Syrians have returned to the neighboring country voluntarily. In total, since 2016, this figure has reached 1 million 213 thousand 620 people.

A. Yerlikaya stressed that the Turkish authorities are ready to support the voluntary and dignified return of refugees to Syria.
