Portuguese national team striker Cristiano Ronaldo wrote on social media that he has become friends with a boy he pushed while in Armenia.

Axar.az reports that Ronaldo said the following about the Armenian young man who wanted to take a selfie with him:

"I made a new friend yesterday! I'm grateful for the love and support. I hope everyone follows their dreams!"

On September 6, the Portuguese national team defeated the Armenian national team 5:0 in the 2026 World Cup qualifying round.
