Negotiations between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing continued until 2 a.m. local time.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the press secretary of the Belarusian president, Natalya Eismont.

“The leaders of the two countries meet often. Recently, in early August, the presidents of Russia and Belarus held a meeting in Valaam. I think everyone understands that Lukashenko and Putin have something to talk about under any circumstances,” Eismont said.
