European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has strongly condemned Russia's large-scale airstrikes on Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Leyen wrote about this on the X social network.

"Yesterday evening, Russia carried out one of the largest drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, targeting both government buildings and residential buildings.

The Kremlin is once again ignoring diplomacy, violating international law, and killing people indiscriminately. Europe fully supports Ukraine and will continue to support it.

We are strengthening the Ukrainian Armed Forces, creating reliable security guarantees, and increasing sanctions to increase pressure on Russia. The killings must end," Leyen said.
