A US delegation has arrived in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine to assess the state of mineral deposits within the framework of the agreement on mineral resources signed between the countries.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Alexey Sobolev, wrote about this on his Facebook account.

According to Sobolev, titanium ore is currently being mined in these deposits, and in the future, the possibility of extracting zirconium ore is being explored.

The minister added that there is a potential hafnium deposit in the area. This resource is used primarily in the nuclear industry and aviation.
