A period of peace has already begun in the South Caucasus.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke about this on September 15 in Shusha, when he received the Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Selçuk Bayraktaroglu.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that the fraternal and strategic alliance relations between our countries are thriving in all directions, including in the military field.

Stating that there are no countries as close to each other as Azerbaijan and Turkiye, the head of state noted that the unity of the two countries is an important factor on a global scale.

President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that a period of peace has already begun in the region (South Caucasus - ed.).
