Bulgaria has announced that it will join the European Union's decision to suspend contracts for the use and transit of Russian natural gas until 2026.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov.

He added that Bulgaria has already reached an agreement on the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States for October and November:

"Our market is fully supplied with the necessary gas at competitive prices."
