The participation of the Israel-Premier Tech team in the Giro dell'Emilia cycling race to be held in Italy on October 4 has been canceled.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters.

According to the information, the decision to exclude the team from the race was made against the backdrop of the recent increase in Palestinian protests. The race organizers justified this with concerns about public safety.

The one-day Giro dell'Emilia race will end in Bologna. Organizers feared that the finish line could be hit by protests.
