Russia always supports and welcomes any efforts by U.S. President Donald Trump to resolve the situation in the Middle East and hopes that his peace plan will be implemented.

Axar.az informs “In Russia, we always support and welcome Trump’s efforts aimed at preventing the tragedy that is unfolding now,” Peskov said in response to a question about how the Kremlin views Trump’s peace plan for the Gaza Strip, which was announced the day before.

“If you are asking whether the Russian Federation is participating in this plan [Trump’s plan to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip] — no, it is not. And we have not received any signals from the Americans on this issue,” Peskov noted.
